• Project director for Graig China Limited based at the company’s office in Shanghai, China. In charge of all company activities in Asia since 1994, with extensive experience of working in Chinese shipyards.
• Overall responsibility for the successful delivery of over 120 newbuildings in China and Vietnam on behalf of the company and other major shipowning groups and is currently engaged in the supervision of a further 35 newbuildings.
• Co-operated with Dwinger Marine Consultants, Denmark in the design and development of the Confidence series of 9,000 TDW multi-purpose heavy lift container vessels and supervised the subsequent newbuilding of 19 Confidence-type vessels.
• Supervised construction of 40,000 TDW handymax vessel in Bulgaria.
• Deeply involved in project development of “Diamond Series Bulk Carrier” with 34,000DWT & 53,000DWT in Asia.
• Master (Foreign Going) with 19 years of experience as master aboard bulk carriers up to Capesize.
