• Two years from 1885 to 1987 as a fleet manager in Kuwait, managing livestock vessels.
• Undertook various senior roles with international ship manager Acomarit from 1987 to 2001, rising to the position of CEO.
• Managing Director of the ship management division of V Ships, within the V Group, from 2001 to 2003.
• 2003 to present. Non-executive director of Graig Shipping Plc, Cardiff.
• Independent marine consultant.
• Married to Una, two sons.
