Chairman and CEO of Graig Shipping Plc since 1993. Responsible for group strategy and leader of the senior management team. MBA Henley and B.Sc Hons, Geology, University of Calgary. Deputy Chairman of The Strike Club. Member of the DNV-GL West European owners committee. Member of the Institute of Directors.
Group Finance Director
Group Finance Director since 1999. Responsible for all finance functions. Career highlights include senior team member at Grant Thornton Management Consultancy and Deputy Group Accountant of British Dredging plc. Chris qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1985 having graduated from Bristol University in 1980 with a BSc (Hons) degree in Economics and Social History.
Director of Corporate Finance since 1999 and Commercial Director since 2008. Responsible for group corporate finance, business development and marketing. Prior to joining Graig, Chris spent seven years with Fortis Bank, latterly as Senior Relationship Manager, shipping finance group, based in Singapore. M.Sc City University Business School, London. B.Sc. Hons. Zoology, Leeds. Member of the Institute of Directors.
Group Technical Director
Group Technical Director since 2010, responsible for ship technical and design matters with 43 years in shipping. A Chartered Engineer, Fellow of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology. Fellow of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects. A member of various committees of Class NKK, Class DNV-GL and the British Chamber of Shipping.
