At its heart are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, which are an urgent call for action by all countries to focus on ending poverty and other deprivations. hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests.
We are committed to sustainability across our entire operation, from office to shipyard. In particular we are focusing on three goals that both align with Graig's ethos as well with our employees own passions. Read more about the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Graig has proven a track record of delivering vessel designs into the wind farm installation sector. In partnership with Mayflower Energy Ltd and the Designers Knud E. Hansen the Graig Group supervised the construction, test and delivery of the first Wind Turbine Installation Vessel (WTIV) to be built in China. This presented a significant step for China in to the construction of WTIV and opened the door to what is now a significant part of China’s offshore vessel construction business providing a greener future.
Following successful delivery of the TIV Mayflower Resolution, the ShanHaiGuan Shipyard went on to build more similar vessels and Graig continues to harness this experience to support modern SOV's in the Global Offshore Wind Markets.
Graig is actively seeking partners who wish to join our Diamond Business Model of operating, focused on the Global offshore wind space, where supply and demand fundamentals make a strong case for a tonnage shortage. There is insufficient fleet capacity to fulfil the demand of all known wind farms by 2030.
