Employed in the Marine Industry since 1974 and has been with Graig since 1977.
Moved ashore as a technical superintendent in 1993 after 19 years at sea, with an extended period as a chief engineer.
Co-wrote the specification for the successful Confidence series of multi-purpose vessels and went on to oversee the building of many of them as a project manager in Graig’ s Shanghai office.
Provides consultancy and shipyard liaison on the specifications and engine selection of newbuilding projects for the Graig group and other shipowners and clients.
Heavily involved in the design and specification of Graig’ s highly acclaimed Diamond 53, and Diamond 34 Double skinned bulk carrier projects, with several other projects to his credit.
Philip is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology, and immediate past chairman of its Wales branch.
Fellow of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects.
Sits on the British Committee of Class NKK and is a member of the marine issues committee of the British Chamber of Shipping.
