• Employed in the Marine Industry since 1974 and has been with Graig since 1977.
• Moved ashore as a technical superintendent in 1993 after 19 years at sea, with an extended period as a chief engineer.
• Co-wrote the specification for the successful Confidence series of multi-purpose vessels and went on to oversee the building of many of them as a project manager in Graig’ s Shanghai office.
• Provides consultancy and shipyard liaison on the specifications and engine selection of newbuilding projects for the Graig group and other shipowners and clients.
• Heavily involved in the design and specification of Graig’ s highly acclaimed Diamond 53, and Diamond 34 Double skinned bulk carrier projects, with several other projects to his credit.
• Philip is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology, and immediate past chairman of its Wales branch.
• Fellow of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects.
• Sits on the British Committee of Class NKK and is a member of the marine issues committee of the British Chamber of Shipping.
