Launch of m/v ‘GRAND MARAIS’

On Monday 26th Oct. 2015, Graig successfully launched the vessel JD35000-6 at Jiang Dong Shipyard, Anhui Province, China. The vessel is the sixth in a series of eight 35,000dwt handysize bulk-carriers. Graig China Limited is the supervisor of all eight vessels at Jiang Dong Shipyard. To ensure she started her life afloat in the correct and traditional manner, the vessel was christened m/v ‘GRAND MARAIS’ by Mrs. Han Xiao Mei. Mr. Piotr Kucharski, Project Manager of Graig China Limited and senior members of the site team has attended the ceremony. The vessel is scheduled to be delivered in the first quarter of 2016.
