The naming ceremony of the first 45,000 dwt bulk-carrier for Shanghai XiangAn Electric Power Shipping Co Ltd

The naming ceremony of the first 45,000 dwt bulk-carrier for Shanghai XiangAn Electric Power Shipping Co Ltd was smoothly carried out at Cheng Xi Shipyard, Jiang Yin on 30th June 2011. This is also the first newbuilding delivered by GCL’s supervision team for this owner. This new vessel has been named as ‘Shang Dian Xiang An 5’

The ceremony was attended by representatives from the Owner (Shanghai XiangAn Electric Power Shipping Co Ltd ), Bank of Communications Finance Leasing Co., Ltd., Graig China Limited, CCS and Cheng Xi Shipyard.

This vessel is expected to sail on her maiden voyage on the 5th July.
