Graig Co-Hosts Ceremony to Celebrate First Two Vessels for Xiang An Electric Power

A ceremony to celebrate the successful delivery of Shang Dian Xiang An 5 on 10th July 2011 and the naming of Hull No CX 0406 on 26th July 2011, the first and second 45,000 dwt bulk-carrier vessels for Shanghai Xiang An Electric Power Shipping Co Ltd, took place at Cheng Xi Shipyard, Jiang Yin on 26th July 2011. The second vessel has been named as ‘Shang Dian Xiang An 6’ and is due to be delivered at the end of the month.

Graig’s site team has produced an excellent result on this project and the owner is very satisfied with the timely delivery and high quality of the vessels. 

The previous day, Graig joined the owner to co-host a thanksgiving dinner party in Jiangyin International Hotel to celebrate the successful maiden voyage of 'Shang Dian Xiang An 5', the first 45,000 dwt bulk-carrier.

Participating in the ceremony were representatives from the owner, Shanghai Xiang An Electric Power Shipping Co Ltd, the Bank of Communications Finance Leasing Co., Ltd., China Shipbuilding Trading Co. Ltd, Graig China Limited, CCS and Cheng Xi Shipyard.
