- Joined Graig in 1974 as Chief Officer and was appointed Master (F.G.) at the age of 28 in 1975 following by 19 years at sea aboard bulk carriers up to Cape size. John is currently project director for Graig Ship Management Ltd, Shanghai Representative office based in Shanghai with overall responsibility for the Group's activities in China. He has extensive experience in China and Bulgaria assessing shipyards for newbuilding projects and worked closely with the designers of the Confidence Series, Dwinger Marine, to develop the Confidence Series. In addition, John has experience aboard reefers, Ro Ro vessels, coasters, container vessels, car carriers and passenger ferries employed as supercargo and port captain for chartered-in tonnage on steel and grain trades.
