M/v �CEC Crusader� Launching, Zhonghua Shipyard, Shanghai, PRC

15 April 2000, Mrs Jane Weitermeyer, wife of the Chairman of Clipper Elite Carriers A/S launched this vessel for the owners Blue Rock Alpha Shipping Limited. This was the fourteenth vessel Graig Ship Management Ltd has supervised the construction of at Zhonghua Shipyard and, as with all previous vessels, was delivered on time with no material delays.

As with all the previous Confidence series of vessels, this vessel will be technically managed by Graig Ship Management Ltd and commercially by Clipper Elite Carriers A/S.

As the Confidence series has developed a number of improvements have been built into the vessels, of note is the incorporation of a 32 tonne whip line hoist which allows for greater flexibility when shifting from heavy lift mode to conventional lifting mode.

In addition to the Graig Ship Management Limited Zhonghua Shipyard site team and representatives from the shipyard and CSTC, in attendance was Soren Halsted (Director, Clipper Denmark A/S), David Ellis (Chief Executive, Graig Ship Management Limited) and Chris Davies (Finance Director, Graig Shipping plc).
