M/v ‘TOBA’ – First Delivery of a new series of six Kamsarmax vessels at Yang Zi Jiang Shipyard

20th April 2015

The first of a new series of Kamsarmax bulk-carriers built at Yang Zi Jiang Shipyard (‘YZJ’) was successfully delivered to owners on schedule on 16th April 2015.  Keel laying took place on 17th October 2014.  The newbuilding supervision of the vessel, Hull No H1088, was carried out by a strong Graig China site team led by Mr Charlie Wei.  Good co-operation between managers at the YZJ facility was a feature of the newbuild and bodes well for the subsequent five vessels in the series.  m/v ‘TOBA’ was named one day prior to her delivery by Mrs Charemi accompanied by senior representatives from the owners.
